About the role

Ayr Energy is redefining how critical grid equipment is engineered, delivered, and supported across the U.S. power system. As we expand across renewable energy developers, utilities, EPCs, and data centers, we are building a brand-led marketing engine that drives awareness, trust, and credibility in a highly technical, relationship-driven category.

As Marketing Manager – Brand & Campaigns, you will own the strategy and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that bring Ayr’s narrative to life — across LinkedIn, trade media, PR, paid channels, events, and targeted account cohorts.

This is not a classical demand-generation role. It is brand-led, content-powered, ABM-rooted growth tailored for a small, high-value buyer universe. You will work closely with the marketing lead, agencies, founders, sales and project teams to design, execute, and scale the campaigns that introduce Ayr to the right accounts at the right time.

What You will Do

1. Integrated Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Plan multi-channel brand awareness and nurture campaigns for renewable developers, utilities, EPCs, and data centers.
  • Build distribution plans for thought leadership content (blogs, PR moments, videos& more)
  • Develop segment-specific campaign concepts based on unique pain points / buying behavior.
  • Identify which channels to activate at what point of time (LinkedIn, trade media, PR, newsletters, ABM ads, events).
  • Run LinkedIn brand campaigns targeting Tier 1/Tier 2 developer and utility accounts.
  • Manage trade media buys and sponsored content placements (Utility Dive, REWorld, Canary Media, etc.).

2. Early ABM Activation (One-to-Many ABM)

  • Develop, refine, and maintain tiered target account lists within key customer segments like renewable energy developers, utilities, and data centers.
  • Tailor messaging and creatives for specific solar, wind, EPC, and utility cohorts.
  • Track account-level brand reach & engagement (impressions, website activity, ad engagement).
  • Develop retargeting campaigns for warm accounts.
  • Help establish the foundations for a more formal ABM program — including intent signals and structured ABM plays.

3. PR, Earned Media & Digital PR Amplification

  • Support amplification of PR narratives, press releases, and digital PR campaigns.
  • Ensure every PR moment is maximized via social, paid distribution, and trade media promotion.
  • In partnership with earned media / digital PR agencies, amplify content / news / media mentions to extend awareness and reach within our TAM.

4. Post-Event & Lifecycle Campaigns

  1. Build email nurture flows for:
    • Event leads / audiences
    • Ad engagers
    • Website visitors
    • Warm account cohorts
  2. Own the cadence, structure, and publishing of the monthly/quarterly email newsletter.

5. Reporting & Insights

  • Track macro brand performance metrics (reach, impressions, site traffic, PR impact).
  • Track account-level engagement across campaigns and channels.
  • Analyze which messages and formats resonate with which segments.
  • Produce consistent cross-channel reports to inform content, PR, ABM, and campaign strategy.
  • Share actionable insights with the leadership team

Skills and Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in campaign management, CRM/lifecycle, or integrated marketing.
  • Skilled at multi-channel orchestration (email, paid media, PR amplification, social).
  • Excellent at segmentation, journeys, and campaign measurement.
  • Data-driven but brand-attuned — you understand trust-building, not just conversions.
  • Experience with CRM & marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong project manager; comfortable managing agencies and cross-functional partners.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to build a marketing engine from the ground up.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ABM tools or account-level marketing.
  • Industrial/energy/cleantech experience (not required).
  • Experience working with trade media or PR teams.

Why Ayr Energy

  • Rising brand awareness among top developers & utilities.
  • Higher-quality engagement from target accounts across channels.
  • Predictable, well-orchestrated campaign rhythms each quarter.
  • Consistent adoption of Ayr’s narrative in the market.
  • Smooth coordination and high-quality delivery across agencies.
  • Clear account-level reporting that demonstrates brand impact. A maturing ABM program by end of FY26.
